Field Day – June 27 & 28, 2009
Again this year we will be co-hosting with REDXA the annual Field Day event at the
Marin Rod and Gun Club in San Rafael. If you are interested in joining the fun, please
stop by during the 24 hours of on air operations starting at 11:00 hours Saturday June
27th and running to 11:00 hours Sunday the 28th.
We will be setting up on Friday the 26th starting at 11:00 hours lunch will be served for
all that turn out to help.
Saturday night BAR-B-QUE is open to members and their families there will be a $5.00
charge per head, you must RSVP kg6tcj@arrl.net so we can plan the food.
Breakfast will be served Sunday morning for the all night operators.

Directions to the site: Look for the Antennas you cannot miss us.
From the East Bay
Take 580 across the Richmond/San Rafael Bridge
Take the first exit at the West end of the bridge
At the stop sign look to your right for the entrance to the Rod & Gun Club.
From 101 North
From 101 Northbound take the East Sir Frances Drake Blvd exit to 580 Richmond
San Rafael Bridge.
Follow East Sir Frances Drake Blvd to and enter 580 -- stay in the right lane and take the next exit just before the bridge “San Quentin Prison Main St. Exit”,
At the stop sign, turn left under the freeway, and then left again at the next stop.
Take the first right into the Rod & Gun Club.
From 101 South
From 101 Southbound take the 580 Richmond San Rafael Bridge exit (Be careful
the highway is under construction and traffic can stop suddenly).
Stay on 580 for approximately 3 miles taking the last Marin exit just before the bridge “San Quentin Prison, Main St. Exit”,
At the stop sign, turn left under the freeway, and then left again at the next stop.
Take the first right into the Rod & Gun Club.
