MARS HAM License Classes

If you or friends are interested in earning your Amateur Radio license or want to upgrade your ticket to General, we have just what you need to prepare. In-depth classes at the Marin Amateur Radio Society Clubhouse 27 Shell Rd. Mill Valley.

Technician Class Amateur Radio license class, beginning on Sunday, September 30, 2012  There will be six Sunday sessions that will run from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.  Our text will be the The ARRL Ham Radio License Manual.

We found some very good sites for practice tests and study guides by searching with Google.com. We just typed in "ham radio study guides" and "ham radio practice tests" and many pages came up.

Directions to MARS Clubhouse MAP
The clubhouse is reached by taking the E. Blithedale exit to Mill Valley from Highway 101. Drive west toward Mill Valley only one block to the intersection of Tower Road. Turn right on Tower, then continue on Tower through a jog to Shell. Turn left on Shell and look for an old firehouse at 27 Shell Road.
